Il s’agit d’un Workshop et ne pas d’un cours de typographie.
Le mot «Workshop» — traduit en français c’est atelier. Mais dans l’enseignement — artistique ou pas — il y a une différence. L’atelier fait parti de la structure scolaire (atelier de menuiserie p. ex.) et est intégré dans l’hierarchie des projets et du programme. Le WORKSHOP agit de façon pontuelle. Il peut réagir plus facilement sur l’actualité. C’est une ouverture de champs d’expression de l’étudiant à la réalité sociale et culturelle.
Le travail aujourd’hui se fera d’abord sans ordinateur. Il s’agit d’un laboratoire expérimental de recherches manuelles.
